In the maker's words

Japanese Puzzles share many qualities, no matter how many steps it takes to open: they are all absolutely stunning. The wood grains are carefully inlaid into the surface to produce complex geometric patterns that are unique to each box. The 4 Sun 21-Step box requires, you guessed it, 21 steps to reach the center chamber. The objective is to investigate the surfaces and find the wooden panels that must be slid back and forth in the correct order. No force is required; once you have found the pattern, all of the wooden panels will slide smoothly and the lid will glide open on the 21st step. This puzzle box is Co-branded with master Kenji Nakazato and Kubiya Games.
