Thirty-five years around games. A lifetime Magic player who still turns up for tournaments, a partner in a card game store in Thailand, and nine years split between Dallas, Texas and Thailand with a playmat in the bag. I buy the expansions, not just the box. I sleeve every card, print my own inserts and deck cases, and never play on a bare table.

That is my wife, Grapes, across the table. She plays everything I play and wins most of it, including the Splendor tournament in that photo. When we travel across Asia, the mats and the games come with us.

Away from the tabletop I work as a technical recruiter and an AI instructor. Puzzlewick is where those two halves meet: research done properly, and only products I would put on my own shelf.
