RELEASED: 3.27.2013 PRODUCED: 35 Copies DESIGNER: Stephane Chomine CRAFTSMAN: Eric Fuller MATERIAL: Bloodwood, Acrylic COMMENTS: I noticed a lot of interesting board and stick burrs coming out on Ishino's site so I decided to make batch of them. After looking at a couple dozen designs I chose six for their representation of the various concepts and levels of difficulty. Stephane came up with some interesting variations on the boards and sticks burr by adding secondary board pieces to be inserted on the same axis as the sticks. This results in a massive increase in difficulty and number of moves. Both these designs are tricky and difficult to assemble with the solution, much less solve on your own. I truly salute anyone who manages to do so without assistance. Aramis is the more difficult of Stephane's creations since the extra boards are inserted first and must be worked around during the entire assembly. The result is a staggering level 12.11.7.12 solution, and a unique 1/105370 assembly! Construction is excellent, with close tolerances but plenty of room to maneuver. 35 copies made for sale; each signed and dated. Ships unassembled. SIZE: ~1.5" PRICE: $21 (SOLD OUT) This item is
