In the maker's words

RELEASED: 5.9.2008 PRODUCED: 8 Copies DESIGNER: Goh Pit Khiam CRAFTSMAN: John Devost / Jerry McFarland MATERIAL: Mahogany COMMENTS: Crafted by John and Jerry, this burr puzzle has been hand waxed and displays very nicely. Designer Goh Pit Khiam has this to say about the puzzle: "I thought of the name when I remembered my two sons playing with some balloons. The number of moves in the burr "balloons" for the first piece to 33. Also the name ends in "loon" as in mad." Both Jerry and John struggled with this puzzle for countless hours, so they can definitely agree with the craziness this puzzle brings on. This puzzle is very difficult, and is the highest level 18 piece notchable burr puzzle ever designed at 33.7 moves. SIZE: 2.5" PRICE: $99 (SOLD OUT) This item is sold out and no longer available. Our Marketplace is the best source for discontinued work. We occasionally revisit discontinued designs at our sole discretion and do not accept requests or one-off commissions.
