Vintage 5 Sun 27 Step Sansui Zougan Japanese Puzzle box

This vintage himitsu bako requires 27 steps to open which is somewhat rare for a vintage trick box. A Sansui Zougan inlay shows well on the lid (Mountain/Lake design) with a floral pattern and bird on the back. The sides have Koyosegi inlay. Puzzle Box measures approximately 5.9 x 4 x 2.6 inches and still has quite vibrant color! There is a slight warp to the lids as can be seen in the picture which is more common of older works. All in all it is well preserved for its age! A GREAT addition to any vintage collection.
