RELEASED: 11.21.2014 PRODUCED: 43 Copies DESIGNER: Stephan Baumegger CRAFTSMAN: Eric Fuller MATERIAL: Ash / Paduak COMMENTS: Crystalburr by Stephen combines the appearance of a classic chuck style puzzle with the difficulty and complexity of a traditional six piece burr. The pieces are burr style and capped with not only an end piece, but also two side pieces on each end. This restricts motion while at the same time adding for the possibility of some very interesting movements that are otherwise unobtainable. With a level 9.4.3 solution, this is not an easy puzzle and will give even the most experienced puzzler a run for their money. I found this to be a very unique and worthwhile design. The construction of this puzzle was difficult. Because of the heavily interlocking nature as well as the flush fit given the sidepieces, tolerances must be perfect. In addition to closer than average tolerances there is a lot of very precise gluing. I'm happy to say that the fit is excellent with this puzzle, perfectly tight yet sliding nicely. 43 copies made for sale, each signed and dated. This puzzle is shipped assembled. SIZE: ~3" PRICE: $54 (SOLD OUT) This item is sold out and no longer avail
