So he went back to the drawing board and came up with an iteration that has a level 5.8.8 solution. Eight moves to get the *third* piece out...this one's tough but doable! Lots of fun movement and overall a great, fun puzzle. Contrast between the Sapele and Ash gives the solver a hint on piece location, as well as making it really pop on the shelf. Construction of this puzzle is outstanding. Through joinery on the connecting pieces means your grandchildren will still be enjoying this puzzle, instead of it falling apart in a year or two like it endgrain glued pieces would.
