I was impressed with the simplicity of design and the brilliance of the concept back then...and after solving thousands of puzzles, I'm STILL impressed. It's just plain a lot of fun! An inexperienced puzzler will stumble upon the solution eventually, but the sharp eye will find a clue in design that leads to the solution much quicker. Mr. Trevor Wood designed and manufactured this puzzle originally, and I thank him for his permission to reproduce it. It received the runner-up certificate in the 1992 Hikimi Wooden Puzzle competition and is in the collection of Prince Charles. Each puzzle is finely handcrafted from various exotic woods, and signed and numbered. Twenty Three copies were made for sale.
