Kakoi Japanese Puzzle Box by Shiro Tajima

The Kakoi Puzzle box was designed August, 2016 Winner of the 2017 Nob Yoshigahara Puzzle Design Competition Jury Grand Prize! Shiro Tajima describes his puzzle as: "This is the box with two colors. The box which got an idea from a Japanese kanji letter like "Tagai". Crafted in Monarch Birch, Black Walnut and Japanese Cherry, it can be opened in a small number of coordinated steps.
