DESIGNER: Stewart Coffin MATERIAL: Purpleheart, Canarywood, Bloodwood, Maple RELEASE DATE: 8.6.2019 EDITION: 57 Copies Released SIZE: 3" Missing Notch is one of Stewart Coffins more difficult assembly puzzles. The six pieces are nearly identical, with notched out centers and two angled notches on the outside. One piece is missing an angled notch, which obviates the obvious coordinate motion assembly. Can you figure out the alternate methodology? This puzzle came out very nicely, with a precise fit and a solid maple cube with magnets on each face to keep the inherently instable assembly together once solved. 57 copies made for sale, each signed and dated. This puzzle is shipped disassembled. This item is sold out and no longer available. Our Marketplace is the best source for discontinued work. We occasionally revisit discontinued designs at our sole discretion and do not accept requests or one-off commissions. To ensure the proper continued operation and fit of your puzzles, please check out our product care guide . We recommend an occasional polishing with Renaissance Wax to keep wood puzzles in top condition.
