In the maker's words

This work was designed and sold through a 2025 Karakuri Lottery and was a limited release. The crafter describes their work as, " The motif of this work is "Kotatsu", which is a low table with a built-in heater and used in winter in Japan, and a cat inside. I think it expresses typical Japanese scean in winter well, though I made it during spring and early summer seasons. Please watch out not to be attacked by a cat inside when you get under Kotatsu." *There is one storage space. . " Crafted by Shou Sugimoto. Original idea by Riko Saisu Constructed in Walnut, Keyaki, C herry, Magnolia, Katsura and Maple. Measures approximately 150 x 150 x 80 mm. with a storage space of 46 x 4 6 26 mm. Arrives with opening instructions and gift box.
