RELEASED: 5.7.2010 PRODUCED: 20 Copies DESIGNER: Oskar van Deventer CRAFTSMAN: Eric Fuller MATERIAL: Bocote / Jacaranda Pardo / Grandillo / Holly splines COMMENTS: I made a very small batch of this excellent puzzle five years ago, and thought it was time for another one. Very few people have made this puzzle (just me and Tom I think), which is a shame because it's very interesting! Constructed this time with three nicely contrasting hardwoods, and holly splines as a nod toward the 2005 edition. I have to say I'm very happy indeed with how these turned out. Extremely precise and with a great feel and look. The joinery is shouldered and reinforced across each length, making this a very sturdy puzzle that you won't be afraid to solve. With two possible solutions, the paperclips interlock to form a beautiful sculpture once solved. At 14 moves, finding the the solution to this work of art is no trivial task either. It is a very confusing and difficult puzzle to solve. Each piece is signed and dated. SIZE: 2.5" wide x 7.5" long PRICE: $99 (SOLD OUT) This item is sold out and no longer available.
