In the maker's words

RELEASED: 6.9.2017 PRODUCED: 51 Copies DESIGNER: Peter Gal CRAFTSMAN: Eric Fuller MATERIAL: Walnut, Ash COMMENTS: Peter sent me this remarkable design and I immediately knew I wanted to realize it. The five piece cube has some remarkable qualities. Each piece is different and none share symmetries. They contain 26 units in total, so a 3x3x3 can be made with one unit missing. The missing unit is solvable for each position, and each solution is unique. If that weren't enough, there is a box to pack them in which can only be serially assembled with the missing cube in one orientation. A very tricky and worthwhile assembly! Construction of this puzzle is sublime, with enough room in the box that wood movement will not be an issue. The box features shouldered joinery and a free-floating bottom for longevity. 51 copies made for sale, each signed and dated. This puzzle is shipped assembled. SIZE: 3" PRICE: $49 (SOLD OUT) This item is sold out and no longer available. Our Marketplace is the best source for discontinued work.
