Splined Puzzle Box Set

The woods used are Bocote and Quartersawn Wenge, and the splines are Sycamore. Difficulty is hard to pin down; when I let my friends play with the prototypes, some solved them quickly while others never opened one or both. I have always liked the look of boxes made with mitered edges and a reinforcing spline down the middle. I have had several ideas for puzzle boxes incorporating the design, and finally settled on these two. Both are tricky and puzzling, with some easily discovered beginning moves and a final difficult move for the solution. Each box is signed and numbered.
