SCIENTIFIC CLASSIFICATION: Mesocricetus aenigma SIZE: 1 SPH (7.5" x 3.5" x 3.5" / 19cm x 7.6cm x 7.6cm) TEMPERMENT: Docile and Inquisitive UPDATE: Hamstermedes and the rest of the herd have finished their baths and gone to bed. What new scientific breakthroughs will they achieve between now and August? Only time will tell. July 2022: Hamstermedes was taking a bath one day and he realized he could calculate the volume of an irregular object by its displacement. "Squeak!" he exclaimed as he leapt out of the tub. After drying off and returning to his tiny chalkboard, he began comparing his volume to that of the new puzzles in our release, and we have referenced his research in this month's update product listings. The Standard Puzzle Hamster (M. aenigma) is a rare and remarkable species. Generations of natural selection have cumulated in a large yet consistent size, soft fur, and the ability to sit very still for photographs. The SPH can be elusive. Known to appear only around the time of puzzle harvests, it is thought that their keen sense of smell picks up the distinctive scent of fresh challenges. Once lured from their hiding places, they may be captured by any puzzler quick-witted
