In the maker's words

The Triad Take-Apart Puzzle contains only 4 pieces and is crafted in American Walnut, Maple, Wenge and Merbau. It was designed by Osanori Yamamato and distributed by Pelikan Puzzles. Puzzle Enthusiast Kevin Sadler stated, “The Triad is a clever idea from the very devious mind of Osanori Yamamoto. It consists of 3 fairly simple pieces trapped in a cuboidal frame. Each of the pieces is a nicely contrasting wood with an L shape appearing at one end and a I appearing at the other. With the frame being so open and there being so few pieces, absolutely everything is visible as you move the pieces about. Random moves won’t help you, this needs a plan to disentangle them and take them out. For those who like an extra challenge, the reassembly from scratch is definitely possible and a fun challenge.” Measures 60 x 60 x 48 mm. Will arrive in bubblewrap. Solution is NOT included.
