Vintage 5 Sun 21 Step Sansui Zougan Japanese Puzzle box

This vintage himitsu bako requires 21 steps to open which is somewhat rare for a vintage trick box. A Sansui Zougan inlay shows well on the lid (Mountain/Lake design) with a floral pattern and bird on the back. The sides have Koyosegi and Ichimatus inlay. Puzzle Box measures approximately 5.8 x 3.8 x 2.4 inches and still has quite vibrant color! There is a slight warp to the lids and light scratches which is common of older works. The slides are a little looser than some but operates perfectly. All in all it is well preserved for its age! "Made in Japan" is stamped on the lid. A GREAT addition to any vintage collection.
