In the maker's words

DESIGNER: Kyoo Wong MATERIAL: Cast Metal DIFFICULTY LEVEL: 5 (Difficult) Cyclone is a puzzle in which each piece interlocks with the other three. While all the pieces initially look the same, there are in fact two different kinds of pieces. The design of each ring has been carefully calculated, highly restricting the amount of possible movement and creating an extremely puzzling puzzle — the pinnacle of a long line of challenging puzzles created by a master puzzler. Hanayama started in the mid-1930s as a manufacturer and retailer of traditional games, indoor pursuits, and other toys, and from the very beginning has placed a great emphasis on creative ideas and good quality. More than eighty years later, Hanayama continues to make cast puzzles that are guaranteed to be fun and interesting amusements for people of all ages.
