RELEASED: 3.27.2013 PRODUCED: 38 Copies DESIGNER: Yavuz Demirhan CRAFTSMAN: Eric Fuller MATERIAL: Bloodwood, Ash, Acrylic COMMENTS: I noticed a lot of interesting board and stick burrs coming out on Ishino's site so I decided to make batch of them. After looking at a couple dozen designs I chose six for their representation of the various concepts and levels of difficulty. Believe it or not, this is the simpler iteration of the Quads and Rings series. Four wooden burr pieces interlock with two acrylic pieces with a level 13.5 solution. Doable despite the high level because a lot of the moves just follow. Achieving the checkerboard pattern is a second challenge. Construction is excellent, with close tolerances but plenty of room to maneuver. 38 copies made for sale; each signed and dated. Ships unassembled.
