In the maker's words

This puzzle was designed for the Karakuri Puzzle Party in Hakone 2018. Originally crafted in August 2018, it was offered for sale on a Lottery basis and sold out quickly. The crafter describes his work as "There are only 3 “drawers”. It is the minimum number that we need to fully enjoy the system. There are only 2 devices. When you have solved the puzzle, you can finally open the bottom drawer. The mechanism used for RF-38 “Canon Chest” was used. This is a drawer of Quinary system. It takes 50 moves to open (except for opening the lid). When all the 3 “drawers” are opened, you can open the bottom drawer. The number of moves has increased in this work. As might be expected, it will take time to solve this item. The formula to calculate the number of moves is “5*5*2=50”". The exterior of the puzzle measures approximately 87 x 79 x 75 mm and has a small storage space of 70 x 44 x 14 mm. Crafted in Walnut, Wendge, Padoauk, Maple and Acrylic board. Will arrive in original gift box and opening diagram.
